Improving Cambodia through equal access to quality education

Imagine you had to make the decision to either finish middle school or work a hard labor job to support your family, which would you choose? For many kids in Cambodia, their futures default to the latter. According to UNESCO data in 2019, 90.2% of Cambodian students were enrolled in primary education; however, by 2020, only 50.1% were enrolled in the secondary level, and not even 20% of students have attended tertiary education in previous years.

Our mission at KIDS is to enable impoverished Khmer students to continue their education. These students have the ambition and passion to further their education, but their families struggle with financial means to support them. Our scholarship program will help fund their tuition, housing, textbooks, and other school fees.
